High Cotton Classic 2007
Record breaking year!
Thanks to all our shooters, supporters, and volunteers we set all new records for number of shooters, trappers, clay birds, hot dogs, and most importantly, funds to support the youth of our area. We can’t thank everyone enough for all the support, the safety exhibited, the kind words spoken, and the generosities exhibited. God has blessed this event and we are thankful! Some of our terrific guests said it better than we can:
A big thanks to Hill and the entire staff of Board members, Volunteers and especially Trappers who made this a memorable event. Sometimes we lump all of the kids together when we speak of how this next generation is going to hell in a hand basket. Well, for me seeing a great group of kids like you had as Trappers lifts me up and makes me feel great about the future of our country. They were all truly gentlemen and I have not been treated in this polite manner at any shooting range since my very first time of shooting Sporting Clays...
Thank You for another fantastic day of shooting and fellowship. I'm not sure how you guys do it or how you could improve it, but I'm already looking forward to next year...
Just wanted to thank everybody again for the awesome day on Saturday. It was the most fun I have had in a while, and Brian and I are planning on coming back next year as well.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending my first High Cotton Trapper day. I thought the events of the Classic were awesome. I saw the other side of the High Cotton Classic and I hope I am able to make all the trapper days in the future. per day so many years ago. We decided right then and there to e-mail you some photos thanking you and to you what it has become. (Two shotguns, panther tickets, fishing gear, apparel, etc. were awarded to the trappers for their hard work.)
We thank all of our sponsors, shooters, trappers, volunteers for all of their efforts and support. We simply could not get do this without you. See you next year at the 2008 High Cotton Classic!
